Wow, what awesome shots, and what a woman! A friend of ours did the same thing on her 50th - ran the 50km loop around the Crater Rim trail in Christchurch. I reckon it's a great idea.
I remember almost getting knocked over in the rose garden...there's wind and then there's Wellington wind!!!
