Whatever the interval or pace of the set they just go as fast as they can until they die and take 10sec breaks at seemingly random times. We don't usually have much rest (20-30s between sets) unless we're doing sprints, when we might do 25m on 1:00 (35-40s rest each 25)Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15650652034813454379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31288959.post-2838164559737614562009-05-28T16:59:27.915+12:002009-05-28T16:59:27.915+12:00What's the typical format for your swim squad in t...What's the typical format for your swim squad in terms of sets rest periods and so on?

When I was a kid we used to do swim squad - best part were the squad names e.g. sharks :)Aaronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09665359545915333818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31288959.post-48852729944957802952009-05-27T08:32:36.850+12:002009-05-27T08:32:36.850+12:00JenC: Totally agree- I'm often late, and always j...JenC: Totally agree- I'm often late, and always just slip in.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15650652034813454379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31288959.post-4371184952325134892009-05-27T01:06:47.021+12:002009-05-27T01:06:47.021+12:00I hate it when someone shows up late to the workou...I hate it when someone shows up late to the workout and insists on starting from the beginning instead of wherever the rest of the group is.

Of course, I no longer swim with a squad, but I do remember that being a pet peeve along with several you mentioned.JenChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08563573740664018332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31288959.post-32621677321951587582009-05-26T23:21:08.129+12:002009-05-26T23:21:08.129+12:00Ha! No racing when you should be training. The dicks who like to 'win' the warm-up or drill session for that matter are normally the ones DNFing in the actual racing or coming up with the same old excuses as to why they didn't perform as well as they do in training... ;-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00039673793177139765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31288959.post-31558261040389406232009-05-26T16:45:23.208+12:002009-05-26T16:45:23.208+12:00Hahah!
